Computer Spare Part
Inspector Gadget Wowser! Disney's "Inspector Gadget" turbocharges to life in a wild and quirky adventure comedy with a thousand moving parts! During a daring rescue attempt, John Brown (Matthew Broderick), a naive and clueless security guard, experiences the wrath of the evil Dr. Claw (Rupert Everett) and is left clinging to life. Jumping at the chance to put her robotics expertise to the test, the brilliant Dr. Brenda Bradford (Joely Fisher) transforms him into Inspector Gadget - the ultimate crime-fighting tool! And Gadget is going to need every techno-trick up his cyber-sleeve to defeat the ruthless Claw - before Claw reduces our hero to spare parts and wreaks havoc on the world! Nonstop action, seamless special effects, and a gazillion gizmos make "Inspector Gadget" a hilarious techno-thrill ride the whole family will watch over and over. During the experimental operation, Brenda (Joely Fisher) implants 14,000 useful and handy devices all over Inspector Gadget's body to turn him into a 21st-century human crime-fighting machine. To make Gadget "fly" the production team used anywhere from six to 12 wires on Matthew Broderick then digitally removed them on the computer. Before filming, Matthew Broderick spent two weeks having molds taken of his body, including 10 molds of his head in different positions and five of his face. Once they began assembling the animatronic pieces, Broderick had to get used to seeing his body parts strewn all over the studio. "It was a little bit distressing," he says, "particularly a head - a severed head.", Seven Lincoln Continentals, recovered from all over the country, were used to create The Gadgetmobile. They were physically rigged, rebuilt, torn apart, and prepped for fire.
Computer worm - A computer worm is a self-replicating computer program, similar to a computer virus. A virus attaches itself to, and becomes part of, another executable program; however, a worm is self-contained and does not need to be part of another program to propagate itself. Computer software - Computer software (or simply software) is that part of a computer system that consists of encoded information (or computer instructions), as opposed to the physical computer equipment (hardware) which is used to store and process this information. The term is roughly synonymous with computer program but is more generic in scope. Computer-generated - The term computer-generated most often refers to a sound or visual that has been created in whole or in part with the aid of computer software. It can, but does not customarily, refer to something produced solely by computer hardware, like a noise from a hard disk drive or a printed page from a printer (although the object printed on the paper may be computer-generated, the physical page itself is not). Computer simulation - A computer simulation or a computer model is a computer program that attempts to simulate an abstract model of a particular system. Computer simulations have become a useful part of modeling many natural systems in physics, chemistry and biology, human systems in economics and social science and in the process of engineering new technology, to gain insight into the operation of those systems.
